After a 33 year career in Corporate MBA, BComm Accounting and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist: (specialising in Finance, Business Management, Human Resources and Regulatory Compliance) I decided it was time to embark on a new career path.
I've always had a passion for property and decided to apply for a position at a prominent global estate company. To my excitement they recognised traits in me suitable to becoming a property practitioner. To gather experience i started in the bond origination team and after 3months was ready to progress to becoming a rental agent. By that time I had completed extensive training and studied as much information on property to equip me for the task. This helped me accelerate into rentals very quickly. This together with my love for people and excellent relationship building skills allowed me to forge lasting relationships with owners, landlords and tenants. I wanted to differentiate myself as a good agent and trusted advisor who serves its community and purpose by always answering property queries, being factual and informative yet courteous and professional. People took the time to send an enquiry, it was my obligation to return the contact even if the property had already been rented.
I have since been in the industry for the past 3 years and am now very active in sales and rentals. I joined Landsdowne Property Management 6 months ago to add a third element namely rental management and building a property portfolio. This has been the greatest change in my 3 year career and I am currently working for the most progressive and growing company amongst its peers. Areas of speciality includes Steyn City, Dainfern Golf, Dainfern Valley, Dainfern Ridge and parts of Sandton and Bryanston.
